Professional Gaming

Going Professional Gaming

It is sad that gaming is seen as a just, to people who don't understand and who aren't into it - which usually means people who aren't geeky enough or consider themselves too cool to be seen associated with playing games. So much so the term "Professional Gaming" has to be created to differentiate between standard playing games for fun, and seriously playing games, which leads to it being a job, either for beta testing new games, or as a form of sport.

However, even Pro Gaming is not seriously seen as an avenue of work, and will take time to be accepted as a norm, and until then, while pro gamers rake in the money winning electronic sports for their quick reflexes, sharp thinking, and keen analysis, the older generation will have a tough time believing what was once just a waste of time is the future of income and survival.
