Brick Gamers 07 - Lunar New Year
Brick Gamers 07 touched on the Lunar New Year and how tradition and family values were giving way to the modern gaming frenzy of younger players. Those with no hometown to go to during the holidays ended up playing games during the long break - further annoying the elders and parents!

Brick Gamers 06 - Internet Outage
Brick Gamers 06 onwards became consistent - every month there would be a comic - and it continues to this day! Those of you who missed past issues of GameAxis Unwired Malaysia (or have never read it before!), can now catch up on the zany adventures of the Minifigs (that's Lego Mini Figures to the uninitiated) here at BrickGamers online! BG06 touched on how the Taiwan Internet outage crippled the South-East Asian countries and affected online gaming tremendously.

Brick Gamers 05 - Generation Gap
This is something many gamers can relate to - especially if they're still students. Parents might not be able to relate to them in their game world, and may have trouble communicating with them due to the generation gap. Brick Gamers decided to take a look at this funny issue.

Brick Gamers 04 - Piracy Issues
It's without a doubt modern piracy still thrives and in the digital form, the software arena is one of them. Games are no escape, but BrickGamers realised that there are justified reasons why gamers might prefer pirated over originals. Here we take a look at what grips Asia, and Malaysia as well:

Brick Gamers 03 - Gamer Types
Like it or not, gamers are categorised into typical types as well, with the familiar RTS, FPS, and the modern MMORPG, which is an evolution of the CRPG, which is itself an evolution of the original D&D RPG. Brick Gamers 01 - Where It Began
This is where it all began. The first Brick Gamers appeared in the September 2006 issue of GameAxis Unwired Malaysia, the leading gaming magazine in the country, and part of the network of leading gaming magazine in the South-East Asia (SEA) region.
The first comic used the 3x2 panel format, which had to appear horizontally in the mag, and made it hard to read, so it was changed in the following issue for a better vertical layout. Then on all BG comics followed this format, which was suitable for a mag, but not online, hence BG Online follows the 1x5 format. That's why converted mag comics online have to be opened in a new window, as the confined display space would be too small to read the text.
BG01 touched on the popularity of Counter-Strike (CS), which at times, seemed like more students knew about firearms than they did about maths! This issue was the butt of jokes in the first BG comic. Of course, as they say, the rest is history :)
