Yes, I have joined the fight in Battlefield 3 (and blame it on all my delay of updates >:D) , because it is that awesome. It is the first first-person shooter I see that really captures the dusty and smoky feel of a real battlefield, high recommended if you are a modern special forces buff.

Salute before Bashing
Most pro video players are courteous towards their opponent; as if to make their prey feel better before the coming onslaught.

Why Don't You Play it For Me?
As gamers are also people they inevitably aged, with age comes the inevitable increase in life's responsibility and obligations that all cuts into gaming time. What is a gamer to do if there is a nice game out but one simply could not find enough time or energy to properly enjoy it?
Well, if it happens the gamer in question has a sibling/friend/room mate who is also into the hobby chances are "second hand gaming experience" can be an option.

Brickgamers61 Free To Play
The recent economy hardship experienced in the "developed" world can be felt even in the gaming world. Countless middle classes who are the back bone of gaming industry fell into demise and the number of video game players some how become stagnant while the number of game titles continued to roll out ... how is a game going to attract more players in such harsh condition? Well, going "free" is the big way now, "free" but with some price to pay...
This strip concludes the catch up of missed monthly updates until recently, we will revert back to 4 panels from now on.

Brickgamers60 Gaming Influence to Life
In less than half a century after video game was invented, it has slowly but surely showing signs of its influence in our daily life. From introducing catch phrase, showing up in main stream media, inciting political issues, making people meet one another to naming children after video game characters... we have since been there, done that.

No LAN? This is Progress!
This subject came out the other day when my gang of friends went out to play starcraft 2 together in a cyber cafe on our weekly bash. Regression in the name of progress in its finest example.
Another reason why I have a number of gamer friends who refuse to buy original copies of SC2, forking out 250 bucks (yes, if you are in this part of the world that is what the price tag looks like) for a game that have no LAN capability while gaming time is getting less and less in the face of daily grind just doesn't make sense for some.

Gaming Addiction Warning Needed
Dude spent 20,000 hours in the past 5 years playing Lineage 2 and now decides to sue NCsoft because it failed “to warn or instruct or adequately warn or instruct plaintiff and other players of Lineage II of its dangerous and defective characteristics, and of the safe and proper method of using the game". Read the whole news on Gamepolitics.

In conjunction with the much-awaited launch of StarCraft 2 ("Hell, it's about time!" as the Marine would say!), BrickGamers presents to you a LEGO StarCraft 1 short game video. It's bound to bring back memories if you've played it before! Enjoy! Here's hoping if you're one of those who waited till today to get the game, that it's finally worth it after a decade of waiting! We Won't make our Console Users look Bad
If you happen to miss this gem news from Gizmodo's PC Gamers Too Good For Microsoft's Cross-Platform Gaming Project ... let it be known that the software giant is aware and capable of combining players from both platforms into a single playing field, but they won't do it. The idea of having their console customers dishing out huge load of cash to play Xbox only to be bitch slapped by PC users seems counter productive indeed.

Virtual Middle Earth has fallen!
Yeah it is old news and we know it: The Lord of the Rings Online went free-to-play, but the plot is just good enough so we do it anyway, besides what better excuse to show off the great video below?
By the way this is Brick Gamer's 100th comic strip, so fear the part time comic artist!
