Gaming Relationship
Yes it's true. Some gamers have a more serious relationship with their games than they do with their relationship! However, with girl-friendly games like Sims, sometimes it works the other way too!

Brick Gamers 22 - Cyber Leadership
This might be a strange topic but it's one that happens in cyberspace, especially with online MMORPG - massively multiplayer online role playing games. It's about leadership and how you can't really run away from the real world issues even if you're in the virtual world - but at least the game world is programmable!
These comics weren't designed for the Web, and so they're actually printed magazine conversions. You have to click them to read the expanded size.

Why Pirated Software Rules
In developed countries, the illegal copying and selling of a medium (like CD) is known as a bootlegged copy, simply because over there, people would sell them by the street, and while they may not be hidden in their leg boots (maybe in an overcoat is more likely), the term comes from when home-made alcohol was hidden in flasks in their boots.
Over here, that is, in Asia, or Malaysia for that matter, we call it a pirated copy, after pirates (duh!). It's obvious why pirated copies of software thrive here - we're not as developed as Western countries, and so people cannot afford original copy prices like they can. While pirated software is lesser in Western countries because they can afford it in their currency, or download it from Warez sites with their connected computers, here if we have connections, it may not be fast enough too.
With the recent petrol hike fueled (pun not intended) by global oil prices going up, the piracy that was slowly being stamped away seems unlikely to go away anytime soon. Hence this comic:

When Legos and Games Meet
Here are Brick Gamers, we're all about where Legos and Games/Gaming meet. Most of the time, it's Comics of Legos about Gaming. This time, we came across something special and unique, which also uses Legos - but not about Gaming, but Games themselves!
That's right, these are Game scenes re-created with Legos! Does this look familiar? This is from the Sony PlayStation2 (PS2). See other NES and Arcade games re-creation here! As usual, all links will open in a new window/tab. Enjoy!

Duty calls - Will you answer?
Any self-respecting first-person shooter (FPS) player would by now already have played Call of Duty 4 (COD4). All the options and in-game details really make this game feel like the next big thing after CounterStrike (CS), but new players might find themselves lost in the relentless air bombardment...

Land Locked
For those of you still never heard of the term "collectable card game", you should know that some people actually build an 'empire' by selling, well, paper cards. For more than a decade after the simple idea of wizards dueling each other on cards, the company Wizards of the Coast, has propelled itself from a basement-run role-playing game (RPG) publisher, to become an international titan of the playing field. Not bad for playing with cards eh? Their popular card game is known as Magic - The Gathering.
The core idea of the game is simple enough, you draw lands and spells. Lands grants you power, and you cast spells with them. But sometimes the odds of getting enough lands are just a hit or miss...
